On February 10, 2007, Obama announced his candidacy for President of the United States. Although various promotional campaigns were there but there was one which would leave no stone untouched.
Whats worth wondering was the paucity of the fact that it was the first live-action Batman film without the word “Batman” in its title,
His presidential campaign began in February 2007, and after a close campaign against Hillary Clinton, he won his party’s nomination as Clinton ended her campaign and endorsed Obama. In year 2008 presidential election, he defeated John McCain, and was inaugurated as president.
That was the same time as on January 22, 2008, some months after filming on The Dark Knight was completed and six months before the film’s release, Heath Ledger died from a toxic combination of prescribed drugs, leading to intense attention from the press and movie-going public.
Eventually campaign for The Dark Knight, developing promotional websites and trailers highlighting screen shots of Ledger as the Joker, but after Ledger’s death, the studio refocused its promotional campaign.
We all subdued the power of our subconscious mind and oft do we point out towards hints that goes unnoticed.
This incidence however small but let our minds to comply to the change of the rule that is the rise of the dark knight followed by the fall of the Joker. What could be the best way out other than Joker’s departure. Thus we witnessed death of Heath Ledger.
RIP Heath Ledger – May one day your death be justified.
